SeaWorld Orlando Returns Two Endangered Green Sea Turtles to Florida’s East Coast

This morning, two endangered green sea turtles were returned to the Atlantic Ocean at Sebastian Inlet State Park by our very own SeaWorld Orlando Animal Rescue Team. Today also marks the 70th rehabilitated sea turtle returned by our SeaWorld Orlando team in 2015.

From Antarctica to Florida, 93 Wildlife Projects Receive More Than $1.2 Million from the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund

Wild animals in need around the world – from Antarctic penguins to sea turtles hatchlings on Florida’s beaches – will benefit from more than $1.2 million in grants awarded this year by the non-profit SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund. Ninety-three wildlife research, habitat protection, animal rescue and conservation education projects will receive the grants.

SeaWorld Orlando Returns Kemp’s Ridley at Titusville Sea Turtle Festival

Over the weekend, our Animal Rescue Team returned a Kemp’s ridley sea turtle, the world’s most endangered species of sea turtle, to Canaveral National Seashore’s Playalinda Beach during the Titusville Sea Turtle Festival.

SeaWorld Orlando Returns Two Endangered Sea Turtles to Florida Waters

This past Thursday, our SeaWorld Orlando Animal Rescue Team returned two endangered species of sea turtles to their natural environment, a Kemp’s ridley and Green sea turtle. Both turtles were rescued earlier this year and received veterinary care at SeaWorld Orlando.

SeaWorld Orlando Returns Five Endangered Animals Following Rehabilitation

Today our Animal Rescue Team returned a male manatee to Kennedy Point Park in Titusville, Fla., and four green sea turtles to Florida’s east coast beaches following a successful rehabilitation at SeaWorld Orlando.

SeaWorld Orlando Returns 11 Endangered Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtles

This morning, our Animal Rescue Team headed out to the Canaveral National Seashore to return 11 endangered Kemp’s ridley sea turtles to the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Today’s return brings the total number of sea turtles returned by the SeaWorld Orlando Animal Rescue Team to more than 50 this year alone.

SeaWorld Orlando Animal Rescue Team Returns Highest Amount of Turtles in 5 Years

This morning, our SeaWorld Orlando Animal Rescue Team returned 17 juvenile Kemp’s ridley sea turtles to Canaveral National Seashore. This is the largest turtle return we've had since 2010 when our team returned 30 turtles back to the ocean, all of which were rescued from a massive oil spill near the Gulf of Mexico.
