SeaWorld Orlando Returns Two Endangered Green Sea Turtles to Florida’s East Coast

This morning, two endangered green sea turtles were returned to the Atlantic Ocean at Sebastian Inlet State Park by our very own SeaWorld Orlando Animal Rescue Team. Today also marks the 70th rehabilitated sea turtle returned by our SeaWorld Orlando team in 2015.

New "Voices of SeaWorld" Episode Jumps Into Action with the SeaWorld Rescue Team

Whether bottle-feeding an orphaned baby sea lion or rescuing a stranded dolphin in the middle of the night, the SeaWorld rescue team regularly jumps into action to save animals in need all over the world. In fact, SeaWorld employees have rescued more than 22,000 wild animals over nearly 50 years through this program.

From Antarctica to Florida, 93 Wildlife Projects Receive More Than $1.2 Million from the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund

Wild animals in need around the world – from Antarctic penguins to sea turtles hatchlings on Florida’s beaches – will benefit from more than $1.2 million in grants awarded this year by the non-profit SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund. Ninety-three wildlife research, habitat protection, animal rescue and conservation education projects will receive the grants.

Four Surviving Pilot Whales Transported to SeaWorld Orlando for Further Care

Early Wednesday morning, September 5, 2012, SeaWorld Orlando’s animal rescue team transported four short-finned pilot whales from Florida Atlantic University’s (FAU) Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute’s Rehabilitation Center in Ft. Pierce, Fla. to SeaWorld Orlando.

SeaWorld Animal Rescue Team Cares for Two Orphaned Manatees

During the past week, our devoted Animal Rescue Team has been taking care of two rescued orphaned baby manatees. The calves were both brought to SeaWorld Orlando’s rehabilitation facility after being rescued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).
