SeaWorld Animal Rescue Team Cares for Two Orphaned Manatees

During the past week, our devoted Animal Rescue Team has been taking care of two rescued orphaned baby manatees. The calves were both brought to SeaWorld Orlando’s rehabilitation facility after being rescued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).

SeaWorld Orlando Returns Five Endangered Animals Following Rehabilitation

Today our Animal Rescue Team returned a male manatee to Kennedy Point Park in Titusville, Fla., and four green sea turtles to Florida’s east coast beaches following a successful rehabilitation at SeaWorld Orlando.
The manatee, at the time weighing 445 pounds, was rescued Jan.

SeaWorld Orlando Returns 25th Manatee of the Year

Meet Magnolia, a female manatee that was returned to the warm waters of Crystal River, Fla. yesterday by our Animal Rescue Team.

This curious sea cow was rescued 500 miles north of our park in Alabama earlier this year after being spotted by local authorities suffering from injuries and cold stress.

SeaWorld Team Returns Two Manatees Back to the Wild

The SeaWorld Animal Rescue team is back at it again. This morning, our team members headed out to the waterways near Merritt Island, Fla., to return Clay and Stokes – two beloved manatees – back to the wild. Donning their life vests, our team received great assistance from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and Sea to Shore Alliance.

Here at SeaWorld Orlando, a large part of what makes us who we are is our incredible animal rescue, rehabilitation and return efforts. The team is ready and willing to respond to ill, injured and/or orphaned animals at a moment’s notice 24/7.

SeaWorld Orlando Animal Rescue Team Rescues Second Manatee Within One Week

No time to rest for our Animal Rescue Team. The team, who rescued a cold-stunned manatee in Magnolia Springs, Ala., this past Monday, headed back out on Wednesday to help another injured manatee that was hit by a boat.

SeaWorld Orlando Animal Rescue Team Returns Manatee to Ormond Beach

This morning, our Animal Rescue Team and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) returned Rizzo, a male manatee, to the Tomoka River in Ormond Beach, Fla., after receiving care and rehabilitation at SeaWorld Orlando for the past seven months.
