I love working in the education and conservation department here at SeaWorld San Diego. Our newest area, Pole to Pole, is one of the reasons why. When we heard that we were going to have the opportunity to participate in something that has never been done before, all of us jumped on board.
On the outside, Pole to Pole may just look like a gift shop, but it is so much more. Here, our guests can book tours and get face-to-face with polar animal ambassadors. Our education department has also created all new, eco-friendly crafts, games, and educational activities for our younger visitors.

These fun crafts, animal visits, and the heart of Pole to Pole help educate guests of all ages about the challenges global climate change presents to polar animals, and what we can all do to “reduce our footprint, so they can continue making theirs.”
